26. Nov 2026 / Juchowo, Poland & online
In times of multiple crises, the agricultural sector, too, faces major challenges. Uncertain incomes, a declining appreciation for food and opaque value chains are increasingly distancing farmers from consumers.
That is why short value chains that enable building up relations between the stakeholders are regaining importance. In particular, the concept of Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) proved to be a valuable approach, as it brings consumers into direct responsibility for an agricultural production system. The aim is to generate both fair income for farmers, and access to high-quality food for consumer with a different financial capacity.
Nevertheless, this model also faces challenges, which the BDEconomy project team would like to discuss with you. So, if you are interested in exploring community-supported agriculture as a viable path towards sustainable food systems, you are warmly invited to our international workshop on November 26th&27th at Juchowo Farm in Poland. You can also listen to the talks online. Participation in the workshops is only possible at the place, though.
We look forward to meeting You!
